Here are some of the winning events we have helped create:
- For GlaxoSmithKline's awards dinner at the Copacabana, we helped to coordinate an entire evening of Broadway music. Between awards presentations, the guests were entertained by "Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers", accompanied by a dancing chorus and a full swing orchestra performing orchestrations created especially for the occasion. The awards themselves were accompanied by music arranged by Opus 5 in the 1940s style, in keeping with the evening's theme.

President Clinton Celebrates
Hillary Clinton's Senate Victory |
Opus 5 Music was engaged by Hillary Clinton's senatorial campaign to coordinate the entertainment for the election night festivities at The Grand Hyatt Hotel with just three days notice. The logistics were formidable, and included a seven-way conference call with operatives from Clinton's senate campaign, members of KC & the Sunshine Band, the event director, a Secret Service agent (President Clinton was attending), and Opus 5. Two Opus 5 bands performed at the event, and we also provided sound systems, and arranged and orchestrated the musical accompaniment to a slide show.
- When Nickelodeon and MTV wanted to promote the launching of the "Odd Couple" sitcom series to New York City advertising companies, they turned to Opus 5. The request? Nine solo saxophonists in tuxedos, strategically placed outside the ad agencies' headquarters, playing the catchy theme over and over again. Opus 5 contracted the musicians, arranged the music and helped MTV pull off a very unique and successful promotional event.
- The Philharmonic Orchestra of New Jersey held its annual Gala at the Pleasantdale Chateau. Four very different Opus 5 ensembles entertained. The different styles of music made for a wonderful evening. The guests wandered from one end of the gorgeous historic chateau to the other, enjoying, listening and dancing!
